Our history
Madsby Pige Cup's history stretches back to 1996, when we first organised Denmark's only football event - just for girls.
Two cancellations due to Covid-19 pandemic caused a delay in celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2022
In the first event, eight teams participated.
A clubhouse, a few tents and our fantastic pitch conditions were enough to ensure the girls had a great experience. Since then, the Madsby Girls' Cup has seen a lot of development.
Every year, 280-300 teams from Denmark, Germany and Sweden head to Fredericia the first weekend in June. The pitches in Madsby still host hundreds of matches.
But the clubhouse is no longer enough. There is accommodation at seven schools in Fredericia, shuttle buses, a large food tent by the pitches, large family camping at the pitches and with Madsby Parken as the nearest neighbour.
